The Mighty Karnali

The Mighty Karnali

Contact us for 2021 Dates

The Karnali flows from the holy mountain of Kailash, believed to be the home of the Hindu god Shiva, and is Nepal's longest and largest river.

Join us in the wild west of Nepal for an incredible journey through mountains and jungle. Paddle through soaring canyons, camp under star strewn skies and of course, as with all Paddle365 courses, receive coaching to help you make the most of your experience on this incredible whitewater river.

Also included is an overnight in Bardia National park, the home of Rhinos, Elephant and Tigers!

We take a comfortable domestic flight to return to Kathmandhu in the morning.

The Karnarli is Nepals last free flowing great river, and sadly under threat from damming. Don't let the journey of a lifetime escape you!

"Just completed the mighty karnali trip with Luke and Jamie. Not just a paddling trip but a real adventure, buying fish from a local fishermen and then transforming it into battered fish and chips in a river camp can only be described as magic.

I absolutely loved their enthusiasm and energy, I liked their coaching style as they developed our paddling skills during our journey down the river." - Matt Webb

"I went with Paddle365 on their Mighty Karnali trip to Nepal. Luke and Jamie took excellent care of us both in terms of ensuring that logistically everything was in place and delivering some top-quality, well considered coaching and guiding on the water. It was great fun hanging out with them and I'll definitely be back for another trip!"
