Who's this for?

The confident flat water paddler with basic boat control skills.
To get the most out of this experience, you should have a few basics under your belt. You should feel comfortable sat inside a closed cockpit kayak wearing a spraydeck over the cockpit. You should be able to paddle in a straight line in over a reasonable distance without the assistance of a rudder. The more basic boat control skills you have, the easier your start will be and the more you'll get out of this course.

If you've read this and aren't quite at this level yet, why not book a private lesson through our sister brand, Dee River Kayaking, which specialises in introduction to the sport.
