Time to book your club or group of friends in! Join us for the most important piece of whitewater tuition you'll ever receive. Your British Canoeing Whitewater Safety and Rescue Training will be an immersive two day experience with hands-on scenario based learning. We will practice life saving techniques so that you can make sure that you are as well armed as possible to the realities of risk inherent in whitewater kayaking. The cost for this private 2 day course is £960, which can be split between 4-6 people. If you have more than 6, then the cost will increase to £1800 up to a limit of 12 participants. This plan is intended to be used by ready-made groups such as clubs. If you are looking for a WWSR Course as an individual, you may book a scheduled open course. This booking is not available as 1-2-1 tuition due to the need to act as a safety & rescue team. What's included in the price: - Professional coaching from an experienced and qualified member of staff. - British Canoeing Whitewater Safety and Rescue Training attendance certificate. Pre-requisite for all river based leadership and coaching qualifications. What's not included in the price: -Boat hire or equipment use. -British Canoeing certification fee (£5 members, £10 non-members) -Small Parking or facility use fees. ​ Kit List • Personal Kayaking clothing - especially immersion wear (a drysuit ideally) and footwear suitable for scrambling around banks. • Throwline – Floating high visibility rope, minimum length 15m, minimum diameter 8mm. • River Knife – sharp, safely stowed but easily accessible single-handed. • 2 to 3 Karabiners – Locking HMS pear shaped anodised alloy karabiners. • An un-knotted 3 – 5m length of climbers tape webbing • Buoyancy Aid with quick release chest harness • Whistle • Kayak / canoe

Cancellation Policy

Once your booking request is accepted, you will be sent a payment invoice. Please make payment as soon as possible to confirm your booking. Cancellation: 4+ weeks before the activity: No fee will be charged for cancellation or rescheduling. 10 days - 4 weeks before the activity: A fee of 50% of the activity cost will be charged for cancellation. A 30% fee will be charged for rescheduling. Less than 10 days before the activity: The whole cost for the activity will be charged for cancellation. A 50% fee will be charged for rescheduling. Less than 48 hours before activity. No compensation can be claimed for cancellation, and a 75% fee will be charged for rescheduling. If you wish to discuss these cancellation terms, please do so ahead of booking.
