Northern Whitewater Kayak Adventure.

North Wales boast some of the best advanced whitewater in the UK, and with the right rainfall there's nowhere better to spend 4 days searching out an adventure. This course is designed to help you progress your Class2/3 whitewater kayaking to where you can feel happy and confident taking on the river with your friends. We'll push for some challenging moves and develop core techniques so that they can come away ready to go on your next adventure. We aim to send you forward with the tools to keep progressing your paddling until you're pulling off stylish lines with the consistency of an expert.

We will base this course in Snowdonia National Park, but each morning will meet in a location central to the intended rivers for that day. After a catch up over a coffee we will head out for a big adventure on the water. The emphasis with this course is learning through adventure, so we'll be aiming for lots of variety and mentored river descents with lots of onus on the participants to become part of the trip planning and river descent team.

Who is this trip for, and what's it about anyway?

This course is designed for keen kayakers who have experience on Class 2 and looking to start pushing themselves onto Class 3 whitewater. You don't have to be all over it, that's what we're here for! If you have a roll that is a bonus (but not necessary), and want to paddle classic whitewater rivers while receiving coaching to help take your paddling to the next stage, then this is right up your ally!
