Are you a new developing grade 2/3 paddler, or an experienced paddler who is stuck in a rut and can't quite seem to become confident?

Join us to break through the barrier on some of the UK's best whitewater training grounds. The Intermediate Intensive White Water Skills Week is designed to give you the core skills you need to bridge the gap from moderate to advanced water so that you're confidently nailing all those technical Class 3 Rapids and ready to push your skills to the next level.

In this course, we'll reinforce fundamentals and iron out bad habits, work on psychological skills, and dish out all the key ingredients you need to help you to step up your game to being a competent and self-sufficient paddler on the water.

Who is this trip for, and what's it about anyway?

This course is pitched at the keen intermediate level kayaker who is happy on class 2 whitewater, and regularly attempting class 3 (with mixed results!). You don't have to be all over it, that's what we're here for! But if you have experience on class 3, have a roll that works (a decent percentage of the time anyway!), and want to paddle quality whitewater rivers while receiving coaching to help take your paddling to the next stage, then this is right up your ally!

You will get 5
days out on the water with low instructor-student ratios, on a course that is focussed on using the core principles of kayaking to improve your technique from the foundations up! This course attracts students from a variety of backgrounds within the sport, but all are there to improve their whitewater fundamentals so that they can improve fast from then. This will be based on class 2/3 whitewater and coaching sessions are tailored to the individuals on the course.

The progressive nature of the course ticked all the boxes I was looking for with combinations of new lines, challenges and good old fashioned fun all delivered by great coaching. By the end of the week I had a clear understanding of a running theme to take away and work on. Now to get on it and apply with my new boat.     Emma Foxley - 5*

It was an awesome experience and one I would recommend to others who are stuck in their paddling progression and want to progress further. Jamie is a patient and detailed instructor and it is easy to see that he is extremely passionate about the sport.  Morten Chen - 5*
