About the Course

North Wales boast some of the best advanced whitewater in the UK, and with the right rainfall there's nowhere better to spend 4 days intensively searching out the big stuff. This course is designed to help you progress in advanced kayaking to the point that you can step forward and go anywhere. We'll push for challenging moves and develop core techniques so that they can become instinctive. We aim to send you forward with the tools to keep progressing your paddling until you're pulling off stylish lines with the consistency of an expert.

We will base this course in Snowdonia National Park, but each morning will meet in a location central to the intended rivers for that day. After a catch up over a coffee we will head out for a big adventure on the water. The emphasis with this course is learning through adventure, so we'll be aiming for lots of variety and mentored river descents with lots of onus on the participants to become part of the trip planning and river descent team.

What level of paddler is this aimed at?

This course is pitched at the keen and experienced kayaker who is very comfortable on Class 3 and regularly attempting Class 4 whitewater, but is looking for that extra bit of technical input and experience that will have them 'styling it'. You don't have to be all over it, that's what we're here for!

But if you have experience on class 4, have a roll that works (a strong percentage of the time anyway!), and want to paddle classic whitewater rivers while receiving coaching to help take your paddling to the next stage, then this is right up your ally!

What is included in the course?

  • Professional guiding & coaching from an experienced and qualified member of staff.

  • An action plan for your progression going forward, and further remote input whenever you seek it.

  • Access to the Paddle365 long-term Mentorship program.

  • Digital copies of any photos from the trip.

What is NOT included in the course?

  • Accomodation and food. Contact us for hotel recommendations local to our most likely course venues.

  • Transport to and from the river (unless agreed otherwise).

  • Boat hire or equipment use (This can be arranged at additional cost. Please contact us if you require anything).

  • Car parking or facility fees.

If you have any further questions about this course we are happy to answer them via email
